Hello Contestants and Aspiring
Fashion Models, I am so glad you have made the first step in taking
control of your future aspirations. The fashion industry is
ever-changing. The decisions you make today will be vital to your
fashion career.
The El Paso Ultra Model
Competition was created to give aspiring models within the El Paso and
surrounding area the opportunity to experience and seek out other avenues
and opportunities within the Fashion Industry. This is a fun way to
learn and interact with other aspiring models. These experiences are
important to any model's career. The techniques and information
Contestants will learn through these experiences will be invaluable.
Contestants will be placed in real world situations and continue to
compete until one El Paso Ultra Model has been selected.
I am a student, admirer and
professional of the Fashion Industry. I have over 20 years of
modeling and fashion experience under my belt. I started in the
Industry as a model and coordinator for my step-mother's seasonal fashion
lines. I have a Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising and a
Masters degree in Business Administration. I have owned and operated
my own model consulting agencies in both the Washington DC area and
Germany. While in the industry for so many years, I have had the
opportunity to embark on both vast opportunities and unpredictable
pitfalls. Therefore, I have dedicated my skill, talent, knowledge
and experience to teaching other models how to avoid those pitfalls.

A native of the sunny state of Florida and admirer of fashion, Desmond has a keen sense of style and fashion. He is not afraid to explore and try new things. His eclectic style and big personality are perfect combinations to the fashion industry. He has years of experience of consulting with colleges and continues to perfect his craft. He is currently pursing a BA in Business Administration with plans of attending fashion school. His fashion moto is "Simple but sexy" when it comes to men and " not too much but just enough" when it come to women. My self motivation motto is -
